An exhibition celebrating the life and work of Maltese sculptor Antonio Sciortino – organized by the Embassy of Malta in Italy and hosted by the Dante Alighieri Society in Palazzo Firenze, Rome – honoured a century of cultural and artistic heritage.
The exhibition – which displayed a mix of state-owned material alongside rare objects from private collections – highlighted Sciortino’s designs for the ‘Monument to the Unknown Soldier’.
