Arts Council Malta’s International Cultural Relations Directorate focuses on supporting Maltese artists in showcasing their work internationally, with a growing emphasis on helping them tour and engage with multiple destinations.
Current priorities include participation in visual arts events such as the Venice Biennale, the London Design Biennale, and the Gwangju Biennale. The Directorate also supports performing arts and collaborates with EUNIC clusters to create opportunities for artists to exhibit locally and abroad. Despite logistical challenges, the Directorate is committed to assisting artists in taking their work beyond Malta.
