‘The Sound of You Dreaming’ is a solo exhibition by ceramicist Paul Scerri, curated by Gabriel Zammit, which runs till the 9th of March 2025 at Spazju Kreattiv, Space C.
In this body of work, Scerri employs an artistic language born from over 40 years experience in the field of ceramic art to capture the universal and the subjective worlds of dreams. Inspired by a nightmare he had as a child which has stayed with him well into adulthood, he embarked on an intensive study of dreams – of how they contradict everyday notions of time and space, but at the same time also contain deep and strange truths, both personal and collective. ‘The Sound of You Dreaming’ also includes a varied programme of events and creative collaborations with several local artists.
